This is a sew-along designed around building a row quilt in a group setting. Instructor will be there to help and give instruction, and we will spend time together sewing and chatting and enjoying eachother’s company. Two kits have been selected from fabrics at Sew Carefree and are available at a discount if you are signed up for the class, but you can also choose your own fabrics. The pattern is free and available at Sugaridoo.com, and Irene at Sugaridoo has created free videos of instructions for each row. Participants can refer to those videos, and there will also be a demo for each row during class time. The batik kit will be easier to assemble, and the blenders kit will require a bit more planning and forethought. Both are easy, fun, and doable with beginner to intermediate skill levels.
You will learn using the creative grid to make a block of the hunters star
The Color Crush Block of the Month is a 6 month program that is separated by month. Each month builds in skill, from month one working on a ¼” seam to month six working on partial seams.
